The AMS is responible for
implementing ESF programmes in Austria.
Training of employees
ESF and AMS support CET measures
by means of the skills training promotion scheme. Entrepreneurs who organise
training programmes for women or for employees over the age of 45, for
instance, are reimbursed two thirds of the training expenses by the ESF
and the AMS. One third must be borne by the companies themselves.
Promoting women and older workers
“This is a targeted measure promoting
the skills training of women and older employees," stresses Mag. Herbert
B?hm, board member of the Public Employment Service Austria. Until the
year 2006, funds totalling ATS 2 bn (ˆ 145.3 mio) are available. |
